Monarch Investment is actively interviewing for a Multifamily Housing Building Inspector/Capital Needs Assessor to join our growing team in Franktown, Colorado.

Monarch Investment is the 9th largest multifamily property owner in the country! We have been privately owned since 1992. We currently own and self-manage over 66,500 apartments in 21 states, in addition to a ski & snowboard resort in Colorado.

This role is part of a small team whom inspects and reports on Monarchs multifamily housing physical assets. You will complete capital needs assessments by thoroughly inspecting all aspects of Monarchs assets. The team identifies any items that might need immediate attention and works with local property staff to ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.

This role is based in Franktown, CO and requires 50-60% nationwide travel when needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, analytics, engineering, building materials, construction/project management and/or a related field preferred.
  • Working knowledge and passion for construction processes, analytics, construction materials and building materials
  • 1-2 years of experience with capital needs assessments or the related
  • Be able to write, edit and present reports using WORD & EXCEL
  • Think critically about ad-hoc conditions & scenarios and formulate an achievable remedy/solution
  • Self-motivated individual who is detail-oriented and possesses strong organizational skills

Due to the nature of this role, a physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties of inspecting buildings will be required during the interview process. This may include reaching from a distance, walking up and down stairs, climbing a ladder, kneeling, stooping and laying under cabinets or appliances as needed.
