The telecom Coordinator is the subject matter expert for all Monarch’s telecommunications systems. They ensure all projects, processes, and troubleshooting are effectively and efficiently executed, delivering on all related goals and objectives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Configures and optimizes telephone systems and services, voicemail, communication, and other related systems companywide.
  • Detects, comprehends, and initiates fixes for network problems and weaknesses, including developing creative solutions where necessary.
  • Maintains and assesses current and future telecommunications systems, equipment, and internal structure of use, including but not limited to:
    - Overseeing installation and maintenance of systems.
                - Maintaining detailed records.
                - Consultation with 3rd party vendors on projects, system upgrades, etc.
  • Stays abreast of latest technology updates 

 Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 5+ years’ experience working on telecom accounts and in the telecom industry
  • Demonstrable ability to:
    • Plan and prioritize tasks, staying well-organized and adhering to deadlines
    • Conduct analysis, problem-solve, and resolve issues in a respectful and goal-oriented manner
    • Maintain an exceptionally customer-oriented approach regardless of workload
    • Effectively manage details with clarity, timeliness, and strict attention to accuracy
    • Communicate professionally and effectively with end users and team members
    • Self-motivate and work independently with limited direction
    • Leverage creative, out-of-the-box thinking to identify solutions to problems
    • Write reports that communicate clearly and effectively
