Monarch Investment is Growing - We are interviewing entry to advanced level candidates for a for a Multifamily Housing Property Inspector/Capital Needs Assessor to join our team in Franktown, CO.  This is a fantastic position for someone who desires variety in their job description, while learning from industry leaders in a stable and growing company.  

Monarch is the 13th largest multifamily owner in the country! We are privately owned since 1992 and currently own and self-manage over 60,000 apartments in 21 states, in addition to a ski & snowboard resort in Colorado.

Purpose: In this role not only will you be learning and physically performing property inspections from top to bottom, producing inspection reports and also ensure pressing items on those inspection reports are mitigated prior to certain deadlines by our property managers.  Additionally, you will perform analysis of the inspections for forthcoming capital needs.

This role is based in Franktown, CO and requires 50-75% nationwide travel.

 JOB RESPONSIBILIES (not limited to):

  • Conduct physical inspections of multifamily properties within our multi-state portfolio, while remaining safety conscience at all times
  • Document and photograph inspection findings
  • Create reports based on inspection findings
  • Analyze and extract requested data from inspection reports on ad-hoc basis
  • Communicate with Owners/Investors, Asset Managers, Analysts, and site level staff regarding pressing inspection findings
  • Manage follow-up regarding pressing inspection findings that are expected to be resolved correctly and timely
  • Communicate with vendors or contractors regarding any inspection related needs

EDUCATION REQURIED:  Bachelor’s degree (or greater) in real estate, analytics, engineering, building materials, construction/project management and/or related field

 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Working knowledge and passion for construction processes, analytics, construction materials and building materials
  • Ability to travel nationwide, to our various property locations
  • Ability to lift, bend, stand, stoop, crouch, climb stairs/ladders, etc.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in extreme weather climate
  • Think critically about ad-hoc conditions & scenarios and formulate an achievable remedy/solution
  • Self-motivated individual who is detail-oriented and possesses strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with software (Word, Excel, etc.)
